In the studierendenWERK BERLIN events calendar, you will find numerous  workshops and conseilling offers from various areas.

• Student financial counselling: We are available to all prospective students and students at our Berlin partner universities free of charge and confidentially. We offer personal counselling in German or English, either in person, by telephone or by email.
• Psychotherapeutic Counselling: Studying places many demands on all areas of daily life. Things don't always run smoothly. Even though students can overcome many challenges on their own, problems can still arise that require professional counselling. We offer psychological support and help find solutions to study-related issues. We also provide support in personal conflict situations. We offer individual counselling and couples therapy, as well as helpful workshops and groups.
• Writing Centre: Get support and feedback on your writing projects, attend workshops on academic, creative or professional writing, or take part in online writing sessions and writing groups.

In general, all services are well suited for international students to further their education, learn about available support and discover their own creativity. Participation is also a good opportunity to exchange ideas with other students.

New country, new city, new university? With our get-together events and culture trips, you'll quickly make new friends!

Whether it's game evenings, creative evenings, clothes swapping parties or joint excursions, the focus is on having fun together. Our events bring you together with other students in an open, international and interactive way.

Every semester, you can expect a varied programme: from chess tournaments to street art tours, from climbing forests to visits to the former Stasi prison. Berlin and its surroundings are best discovered together, and at particularly affordable prices.

The special thing about living in a student residence is the sense of community: students from a wide variety of disciplines, cultures and interests live, learn and celebrate together.

You can get information about current events from your tutors, talk to them during office hours or check out the chat groups!

The hall of residence tutors are international and German students who share their experiences with you and support you in everyday life in the hall of residence.

Teams from all halls of residence compete against each other in the volleyball championships, a sporting highlight with international flair!

The hall of residence quiz battle in the Freiraum is also a lot of fun: exciting questions, live acts and prizes for your hall of residence team await you. If you want to take part, simply register with a group from your hall of residence!
