Residence Tutor Franz-Mehring-Platz

Hello,

My name is Omnya, I'm 25 years old and I'm a tutor at Franz-Mehring-Platz dormitory since 14/03/2022.

I am from Egypt, I can speak Arabic, German and English fluently, and if you speak Turkish, I can also understand 50%.

I've been studying Information Technology at TU Berlin since 2017, which means if you have any questions about student life/ learning methods/ my university specifically or even universities in general, I can most likely help you :)

Questions like: Study places? Which documents do I need for...? Where can I... buy? etc., I can usually answer or at least refer you to another place. Just get in touch without hesitation!

Besides the TU life 😉, I like to spend my time in drawing, painting, sculpting, sports or even meditation.

So I will definitely offer drawing meetups and gallery visits, as well as volleyball tournaments as soon as the sun shines, Language meetups and much more.

I moved into the FMP dorm almost 4 years ago now and the best thing here has always been that no matter where you are from, what you do in life, you are truly never lonely!

Hello,

My name is Elia, I'm 20 years old and I've been your tutor here in the residence since 1.10.2022. Regardless of what your request is, I will be happy to help you :)

First of all, something about myself: I am currently studying physics at the TU-Berlin. So if you have any questions about the university, I'd be happy to help you.  

In my free time, I really enjoy doing sports and being active. However, I also enjoy writing and reading. In general, I like to further my education.

I come from Berlin and speak fluent German and English.

I moved here in March 2022 and have loved it here ever since! The gym is great (you'll often find me there) and there are lots of different events on offer.

If you have any wishes or suggestions for future events or the dorm, just get in touch. In the future, I would like to plan a few events in the direction of sports and/or poetry. I am looking forward to it!
