Residence Tutor Storkower Straße

Hello, I’m Mascha (she/her) and, from July 2026, I’ll be the new tutor at the ‘Ferdinand Thomas’ hall of residence on Storkower Straße. You can speak to me in German, English or French.

I was born and raised in Berlin and have spent most of my life here. I’m studying history at Humboldt University in Berlin. I really enjoy reading, going for walks and exploring new places that way. I like visiting museums and exhibitions and enjoy learning new things. I’m also always up for a board game night.

The hall of residence is a great place to meet new people, and to help you do just that, I’m planning to organise events such as group picnics in Lichtenberg City Park or museum crawls.

The ‘Ferdinand Thomas’ hall of residence offers plenty of opportunities to socialise, thanks to the sports area, the table tennis room and the garden. You’ll find information about events on notices in the showcases, on the doors and, of course, in the hall’s Telegram group. Feel free to have a look there to see if any events take your fancy and do pop along.

If you have any questions about your studies or the hall of residence, I’m always here to help. You can reach me by phone or email – or simply pop into my office hours and we can have a chat there. You can find me every Thursday from 7.00 pm to 8.00 pm in the office in Building 219, ground floor (caretaker’s office).

Hey

I'm Sewa (he/him), 20 years old, and I'll be the new tutor in the “Ferdinand Thomas” hall of residence on Storkower Straße from summer semester 2025. You can speak to me in German, Russian or English - I'm here for you if you have any questions or concerns.
I'm originally from Kazakhstan, but Berlin has now become my second home.I feel at home here and have found a great community.

I'm currently studying technomathematics at the Technical University of Berlin. In my free time, I enjoy movies and music - whether relaxing on the couch or actively discovering new artists. I'm also always open to new experiences and look forward to organizing cool events in the hall of residence.

The hall of residence in Storkower Straße is a special place for me because there are so many opportunities to get to know people and experience things together. We not only have a sports field and a table tennis room here, but also a garden, which is perfect for cozy evenings or small parties.

I regularly plan events where all the residents can exchange ideas and network. Whether it's movie nights, game nights or small concerts - it will definitely be exciting!
You'll find out about new events via notices in the showcases, on the doors and, of course, in the dormitory's Telegram group. So check back regularly to make sure you don't miss anything.

If you have any questions about living in the hall of residence or studying, please feel free to contact me. You can find my office in house 219, ground floor (caretaker's office), every Wednesday between 6 and 7 pm. You can also reach me by e-mail or telephone.
