Speech-to-text reporter

For studies at Berlin universities or colleges, speech-to-text reporters can be applied for within the framework of inclusion support services for students.

The students organise the assignments for speech-to-text reporters themselves. Students can make use of speech-to-text reporters on-site or speech-to-text services online. If you have any questions about organising, financing or finding Speech-to-text reporter, please feel free to contact us.
You can apply to us directly to have the interpreting costs covered.
Important: Please submit your application for interpreting costs to us before you start your search. We would be happy to arrange a consultation with you.

Search for speech-to-text reporters using the contact list provided by the Accessible Studying Advisory Service. Contact us and we will send you the contact list.
Search for providers yourself on the internet.
Some students search for interpreters using an online spreadsheet. This could be Google Sheets or iCloud Numbers, for example. You can create your timetable as a spreadsheet and generate an access link. You can send this link to the speech-to-text interpreters. The idea is that the speech-to-text interpreters can then enter themselves directly into the timetable.
Please note:
If you are looking for speech-to-text reporters for events that last longer than one hour, you will need two interpreters.

We handle the billing for interpreting services for your studies. Interpreters send their invoices directly to us. You sign a confirmation of service.
If you have any questions or requests, please contact us at gsd@stw.berlin!
