2. How do I finance my studies and support?
Financing
Financing
Student financing is usually mixed financing. Students with disabilities often have additional financial expenses, for example for ongoing impairment-related costs (for special forms of therapy, medication, higher costs for nutrition, etc.).
We advise on impairment-related issues of student financing, such as compensation for disadvantages in BAföG, such as a postponement of the proof of performance and funding beyond the maximum funding period for health reasons.
Financing options
- BAföG
- Impairment-related additional costs
- Benefits to secure livelihood according to SGB II and SGB XII
- Reduced earning capacity pension (pension insurance)
- Child benefit
- Housing benefit
- Jobs
- Scholarships
- Grants from the studierendenWERK
- Student credits and loans
