Residence Tutors Siegmunds Hof
My name is Eren Emir Çelik, I am 24 years old and I am a hall of residence tutor at the Sigmunds Hof hall of residence. I was born and raised in Istanbul in Turkey, and I have been living in Berlin for three years, where I now feel right at home. I speak English, German and Turkish. I am currently doing a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Berlin.
In my free time, I regularly go to the gym, practise kickboxing and enjoy travelling. In the hall of residence, I organise various events such as picnics, walks, film nights and sports activities. If you have your own ideas or requests for specific events, please feel free to get in touch with me at any time. We regularly share information about the events in our Telegram groups.
When I was new to Berlin, I found a lot of things a bit overwhelming and sometimes confusing at first. That’s why it’s important to me to support you as best I can with any questions you have about life here. If you need help or simply have any questions, please feel free to get in touch with me.

Hi there 🙂.
My name is Feride Karasulu and I’ve been a tutor at the Siegmunds Hof hall of residence since 1 May 2026. I’m from Turkey and grew up in Istanbul. I speak German, English and Turkish. I’m currently studying Computer Science at TU Berlin. In my free time, I really enjoy meeting new people and reading.
I’m happy to help you with any issues in the hall of residence, as well as when you arrive in Berlin with questions about registration, health insurance and all those things that can sometimes feel overwhelming when you first arrive.
I’m currently planning events such as trips to parks, where we can have games evenings or picnics to strengthen our community here at Siegmunds Hof. I’m always open to new suggestions. We have a Telegram group and a WhatsApp community where you can find out about such new events.
For me, feeling at home has less to do with the place and more to do with the people. I’d love to be there for you, so that through our events and our time together, Siegmunds Hof feels more like home for all of us.
