Those without a Share

The exhibition ‘Those without a Share’ takes the concept of home as its starting point - not as a fixed place, but as a shifting layer of meaning between belonging, migration, border and body. Eight artists who came to Germany via different routes speak in their own languages about a place that has never been fully reached. Their voices manifest themselves in material, movement, memory and interruption.

The works range from painting, mixed media, sculpture, video and installation art to virtual reality and performance. The works do not represent - they reposition. They create spaces in which the memory of dissolved traces accumulates and presence is inscribed in form and gesture. This exhibition is an invitation to look together. Between the sayable and the unsayable. Between separation and contact. Between what was and what could be.

The vernissage will take place on Friday, 30 May 2025 from 18:00 to 21:30. A performance by Zifan Jiang will take place during the opening.

On Sunday, June 2, there will be a guided tour of the exhibition by Alungoo Xatan from 1 pm. There will also be two performances by Luań Càja and Daria Kim.
