A writing group gives you an opportunity to proceed with your writing project in a protected setting. In the group, you will receive input about questions concerning an academic paper: How do I begin? When have I done enough research? What do I need to consider when writing the introduction and the conclusion? We will take a look at these and similar concerns.
Afterwards, you will have approx. 2-3h time for working on your own paper. You can also exchange with other participants about your progress and challenges. You will notice that you’re not alone with your doubts and uncertainties - and that it helps to talk about your writing.
Our writing groups take place several times during the year in the following formats:
-
Thesis writing group (for Bachelor/Master theses)
-
Writing group for academic papers (seminar papers or Bachlor/Master theses)
-
Writing group for students performing care work while writing
-
Writing groups in German/for academic papers written in German
A writing group takes place once or twice a week, over the course of several weeks. Requirements for participation are having an individual writing project that you want to work on during the writing group, as well as a committed participation in all group meetings.
