Kurs: Zwischen-Klassen [Only in German]

writing on class

This workshop is a space for anyone who wants to explore social background and class through writing. This might include, for example: What does it mean to be the first person in my family to go to college? Or: What social inequalities do we encounter in the context of higher education?
Whether this is your first time writing a narrative piece or “writing” is practically your middle name: Everyone is welcome to join! By reading at first, and above all by writing and speaking ourselves, we’ll explore how we can write about, with, and alongside class. The workshop is a safe space for a small group with the goals of raising awareness, reflecting through writing, and developing our own storytelling as an emancipatory practice. With the help of items, texts, photos, etc. that you bring along, writing prompts, and by viewing the media you bring together, we can develop texts and discuss them.
The workshop takes place every other Friday between April 24 and June 19.
