Queer Get Together

Join us as we celebrate Pride Month – a time to highlight queer visibility, self-expression, and community. This workshop offers queer students and allies a creative space to come together, connect, and take part in something fun and hands-on – with the chance to meet new people for Pride Month and beyond.

Candle Pouring:
Pour your own candle and choose from a variety of vibrant colours or a scent you like. You can decorate your candle however you wish and even choose your own mould. If you’d like, you’re welcome to bring a personal container to transform into a candle.

Design Your Own Candle Holder or Stand:
Craft your very own candle holder out of clay! Shape a unique design to match your ideas – perfect as a keepsake or gift. You don’t have to stick to candle holders either – feel free to sculpt the clay into whatever you like (jewellery dish, figurines, storage container, etc.).

Please note:
This event is not an art class or professional workshop. All materials are provided free of charge. We aim to spend a fun evening with you in a creative setting, giving you the chance to explore artistic activities that you can enjoy with fellow students. No prior experience is required!

Participation is only open to students from our partner universities with a confirmed registration.
