Open Call: ParisXBerlin

The Galerie du Crous de Paris and the Kunstraum Potsdamer Straße of studierendenWERK Berlin are inviting two students working in the arts from Berlin to take part in a 10-day artist residency in Paris. Together with two French art students, they will create an exhibition at the Galerie du Crous de Paris.

Expected dates: 17–28 April 2026 (including set-up, dismantling and exhibition opening)

What to expect:
• a 10-day stay in Paris
• an artistic exchange with French students
• a public presentation of the exhibition in a renowned gallery in the Latin Quarter, right next to the École des Beaux-Arts de Paris

General conditions:
• Travel expenses, accommodation and a meal allowance will be covered.
• The works must be easy to transport in luggage or be realisable as digital works. No material transport by freight forwarder will be covered.

Who can apply?
Students working in the arts who are enrolled at one of the partner universities of StudierendenWERK Berlin in the summer semester of 2026. All media are welcome, but we would like to point out once again that the works must be easy to transport or digital, as we cannot finance the transport of materials.
