- Write a short letter of motivation in which you introduce yourself and describe your previous acting experience (e.g. drama lessons at school) and your expectations/wishes. Previous experience is less important than reliability and a willingness to engage with a group process. You should have the time to commit. Although we only meet once a week, scripts sometimes need to be written and learnt outside of rehearsals.
The first rehearsal on 12 October 2026 is open to all interested parties, and a decision will then be made as to who will join the group. So please make sure you can attend the first session. This is explicitly not an audition, but rather an opportunity for us to get to know one another. It is also intended to give an idea of the direction in which the play’s development is headed.
Enrolment certificate and university:
- Please enclose a valid and up-to-date enrolment certificate with your application.
- Binding registration for the course is only possible for students from our partner universities.
- 15 regular sessions on Mondays, 6.30 pm – 9.00 pm (No rehearsal on 28 December 2026)
- Additional rehearsal: Sunday, 31 January 2027 or Saturday, 30 January 2027
- Dress rehearsal: Monday, 1 February 2027
- Performances: Thursday and Friday, 4 and 5 February 2027
- Participation in all final performances and rehearsals is compulsory.
