Course: Improvisational theatre in English

In this course we will practice the basics of improvised theatre in English.

Inspired by audience/ participants suggestions or acting exercises, we will create shorter scenes and longer montages. Learn to speak more confidently and to trust your instincts. Explore the unique story that you have to tell and start to shut up that inner critic that keeps you from being your most vibrant self! We’ll practice and grow together as an ensemble and we'll create a fun show at the at the end of the semester at the Freiraum of the Studierendenwerk.

Registration via eveeno will be activated on 23 March 2026.

 

  • Artistic direction: Paul Schmidt 
  • The course takes place on Fridays, 24 April 2026 to 3 July 2026 from 2:15 till 3:45 p.m.
  • No course on: 1 May 2026 & 15 May 2026
  • Open to all levels of improv/acting experience.
  • Native English-speaker level not required.
