As part of the competition, student film teams take on the challenge of producing a short film.
The theme, as well as three mandatory elements, will be announced on Friday, 8 May 2026 at 5:00 pm during the online kick-off meeting. Team registration is open until the kick-off day, 8 May 2026 at 1:00 pm. Registration will close after the deadline or once 18 teams have registered.
Teams must submit their completed films by Sunday, 10 May 2026 at 6:00 pm.
Each team will receive an expense allowance of €75, provided that the participation requirements are met.
During the public screening on 18 June 2026 at Freiraum, the audience will award three Audience Awards with a total value of €1,000:
