In German: The Freispieler*innen present: SündenBlock

Once again, the Freispieler*innen are tackling a controversial, topical issue. The real-life trial is still in full swing, and the presumption of innocence applies here too. That’s why we’re not taking sides – after all, nobody likes to be wrong.

Suffice it to say: secret service agents, millionaires, sports presenters, a ‘War of the Roses’ – and, sadly, children were involved too.

A custody battle, a criminal case. Over 150 witnesses listed in the indictment. Both sides are accusing each other, and somehow there are also parties in between and on the sidelines.

Whilst the trial is already set to last twice as long as planned, we’ll stick to an earlier statement by the main defendant. It wasn’t her, but her mother, who is said to have planned the violent abduction. Right. Let’s assume an 80-year-old had what it takes to be a criminal mastermind. How did that come about? I don’t think my grandmother had any connections to the criminal underworld. Or perhaps she did?
