Are you curious to learn about Berlin's queer history, which is often overlooked? From contemporary nightlife and memorials to subcultures of gay life throughout history.
What important role do migration, race, class, and subculture play in the emergence of the drag scene? How can drag be understood as a form of resistance and community against discrimination? On this CultureTrip, you can get to know Berlin's drag scene and visit queer venues for drag performances in Berlin. Drag queen and artist Hassandra will guide you through their Berlin. Whether this is your first encounter with queerness or not, you can expect a varied day with an international flavor. You will also have the opportunity to meet other students and make new contacts in a safe space.
At this CultureTrip, we are committed to addressing multiple discrimination and creating a space where people can thrive. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us confidentially using the contact form below.
