Course: Bühne Frei! – Student-Led Theater Group [Only in German]

Would you like to let your creativity run wild in the theater?

 

With us, you’ll find an open and self-directed platform to showcase your dramatic talent, really immerse yourself in a role, or simply discover the joy of artistic expression together.
Whether you’re a natural performer or prefer to work behind the scenes, “Bühne Frei!” is the perfect place for you: From acting and directing to costume design and set design, there are many ways to get involved and bring your creative ideas to life. It doesn’t matter whether you already have experience or are completely new to this.
Together, we’ll choose a script and develop a play over the course of the semester, which we’ll present on the Freiraum stage (tentatively October 2026). Always part of the experience: lots of fun with acting, art, and working together!

Registration via eveeno will open on March 23, 2026. Registration for the course is free of charge.

Please review the additional information and the notes regarding the terms of participation.

  • There are no requirements for participation (such as an audition).
  • We’ll start with a workshop where you can bring ideas for the upcoming project. Together, we’ll then decide on a play and a directing team.
  • Rehearsals will take place every Friday from May 8, 2026, to July 17, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Freiraum at the Studentenhaus.
  • The course is canceled on: May 1, 2026, and May 15, 2026
  • Rehearsals may also take place during the break from classes, subject to agreement. This will be decided together during the first few sessions, depending on the project and the participants.
  • Performance: tentatively scheduled for October 2026 (beginning of the 2026–27 winter semester)
