The Berlin Stories program, launched by the Kulturwerk des Studierendenwerks Berlin, offers students a platform to process life and observations in the big city in literary form. The Berlin Stories blog provides insights into previous texts that open up new perspectives on young Berlin today.
Alexandra Zysset, city writer for the second half of 2025, will read from her final project and pass the baton to the new city writers, who will give a first glimpse of their work. Stay tuned!

The event will be moderated by Theresa Brehm and Lucie Frahm from the Kulturwerk des Studierendenwerks Berlin.
Alexandra Zysset - Stadtschreiberin 2025
Alexandra Zysset was born in Biel (Switzerland) in 1995. She studied creative writing in Biel and Leipzig and worked as a secretary in a law firm for four years. Since 2022, she has been studying general and comparative literature at the Peter Szondi Institute of the Free University of Berlin with the support of the German National Academic Foundation. She also works as an editorial assistant for the literary magazine Edit.
