Workshop: Analogue B/W photography

Together, we explore the medium of analog photography!

‘The moment’ - do you want to experience it or capture it? An aesthetic exploration of the individual perception of time and space with the camera.

In this workshop, we will discover analogue photography together and explore the medium and the concept of the moment - including theoretical perspectives from Susan Sontag and Roland Barthes. On an excursion to the Willy Brandt House on 28 June, we will discover two inspiring photo exhibitions: Angelika Kohlmeier's analogue long-term photographs of political processes and the World Press Photo exhibition 2025 with impressive documentary photography from all over the world - perfect impulses for our workshop. After a week of searching for your own motifs, you will learn how to develop your film in the darkroom. Finally, we will present the resulting works to the public in a pop-up exhibition at KUNSTRAUM Potsdamer Straße on 6 July.
