CANCELLED: Neurodiversity and Starting your Career [Only in German]

The transition from university into your professional life is an exciting time full of possibilities – but it’s also connected to unique challenges, especially for neurodiverse people. In our two-day workshop, we will support you in navigating this step confidently and successfully.

This workshop is designed for neurodiverse students that are preparing to enter their career life after university, as well as those looking for a suitable part-time job or internship during their studies. Even if you only assume to be neurodiverse, you’re welcome!

Main focus of the workshop:

Thur., 30th October:

• Self-presentation in the application process: Learn to showcase your strengths authentically and convincingly
• Stress prevention and selfcare: Practical strategies for dealing with stressful and anxiety-inducing application situations.

Fri., 31th October:

• Mastering job interviews: practical exercises and constructive feedback
• Support in the workplace: tools and resources for self-organisation and time management, working in neurodiverse teams, seeking support from supervisors and colleagues.

Instructor: Jana Steuer – a certified rehabilitation pedagogue, coach and mediator – a self-advocate for ADHD with personal insights on neurodiversity.
