Only in German: Improving German Pronunciation

Pronunciation Training for Clear and Confident Communication

Do you sometimes feel unsure when speaking in German during a seminar, a presentation or in an exam? This pronunciation training will help you to improve your pronunciation and to feel more secure in various speaking situations.

What can you expect?

Practice specific features of the German language:

  • common struggles: “Ich”- and “Ach”-sound, R-sound, H-sound, final devoicing and glottal stop
  • difference between long and short vowels
  • word- and sentence stress
  • intonation patterns

Practical Exercises: During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to present a short talk (1-2 minutes) on a topic of your choice. You will receive individual feedback and specific recommendations for future improvements.

Additional support: Learn effective strategies for practicing on your own, such as the shadowing method, to sustainably improve your pronunciation.
