Let's get it done!

Do you have an academic writing project that you want to make progress on, or get done with, before summer vacations?

In this writing group you can pull through with your work and start into your summer with a good conscience!

What can you expect?

• Short inputs to help you organize, structure and clarify your writing (approx. 40 min per meeting),
• an online co-working space for regular times to work on your project, including short individual writing consultations as needed (approx. 1,5h per meeting), and
• exchange with other students (approx. 40 min per meeting).

Please note that this is not a competition against other participants to see who can write the best or the fastest. Instead, we want to provide a relaxed yet structured atmosphere, where students with any or no prior experience in academic writing are welcome.

When & where will we meet?
The group will take place twice in our rooms at Hardenbergstr. 34 as well as online via Cisco Webex (you will not need to download a software or register, you can simply participate via your browser).

Requirements for participation:

• You are currently writing a thesis, a seminar paper, or another kind of academic writing project in English (all subject areas welcome)
• You can attend all of the abovementioned dates
• You are available for a short check-in call before the writing group begins. (Don’t worry, it’s not an entrance exam. It only allows us to check whether your needs and our requirements meet, and to answer any remaining questions you may have about the format.)
• You comply with our terms of participation (see checkbox in the application process)
