An Introduction to Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)

Big and small challenges in everyday student life can be quite stressful. Mindfulness can help you to consciously perceive this stress and find a healthy way of dealing with it.

In this workshop, you will receive a brief introduction to the scientifically founded method of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) according to Jon Kabat-Zinn and try out practical exercises that you can easily incorporate into your daily life.

Workshop Topics:
• Basics: What is Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)?
• Exercises:

  • Mindful body awareness while lying down
  • Breathing exercises while sitting
  • Mindful walking
  • Mindful listening

• Tips for Everyday Life: How to successfully integrate mindfulness into your study routine.
