More participation for your child

Every child should be able to participate fully in our daycare centre – regardless of their family's income.

The berlinpass-BuT (education and participation pass) provides financial support to families in Berlin and gives children access to important services such as lunch, excursions and more in daycare centres, schools and other institutions.

With the berlinpass-BuT, you can enjoy the following benefits at our daycare centres:

• Lunch costs: Currently covered in full (value: 23 euros per month).
• Reduced full board: Instead of 40 euros, you pay only 36 euros per month.
• Free participation in excursions and trips: The education and participation package covers the costs in full.

If you receive, for example "Bürgergeld", "Sozialhilfe", "Wohngeld", "Hilfe zum Lebensunterhalt", "Erwerbsminderung", "Wohngeld", "Asylbewerber-Leistungen" or "Kinderzuschlag", your child can obtain a berlinpass-BuT.

You can easily submit the application online or in writing via your local benefits office.

• Please check whether you or your family receive benefits such as "Bürgergeld", "Sozialhilfe", "Wohngeld" or "Kinderzuschlag", because then the pass can be applied for.
• Once the passport has been granted, present it at our daycare centre.
