Art spaces

KUNSTRAUM Potsdamer Straße

The KUNSTRAUM Potsdamer Straße consists of a rouhly 260 square meters big gallery space and two parking decks that make up a combined 1800 square meters. This special space hosts group exhibitions and events as well as curated solo exhibitions from April through September. It is located in the art district around Potsdamer Straße, to which we, of course, add.

The KUNSTRAUM Potsdamer Straße is therefore also one of the few spaces in which works by students from both art schools, as well as from other universities, can be viewed together. The space is also understood as an opportunity to discover and support young, talented students from Berlin.

You can also work with our 3D models of the KUNSTRAUM Potsdamer Straße: Here you can download the models.

Exhibition Spaces in the Student Canteens

Several student canteens operated by studierendenWERK BERLIN include exhibition spaces that regularly present contemporary art. The exhibitions make artistic work visible in highly frequented public spaces and create encounters between art and everyday life.

The exhibition venues are:

  • KUNSTRAUM Silberlaube (FU II Student Canteen)
  • KUNSTRAUM Schinkelsaal (HU Nord Student Canteen)
  • KUNSTRAUM Hardenberg (TU Veggie Student Canteen)

The exhibitions feature works from a range of artistic disciplines, including drawings, prints, photographs, collages and other two-dimensional media. The works are displayed using a suspended ceiling hanging system with cords.
