studierendenWERK BERLIN provides financial support in in certain cases of hardship. The application requirements must be met in accordance with our guidelines and documented with the relevant supporting documents.
The emergency aid is intended to enable a successful course of study and to prevent students from dropping out. They are intended as a temporary measure and are usually granted as a one-off benefit.
How to apply?
Please contact the student financial counselling service. The application can only be submitted after a confidential consultation at the counselling centre or by video. Here we will clarify whether the application requirements are met and also discuss your basic funding options.
Due to increased demand, we would like to point out that we do not grant loans.
