Less is often more
You can achieve a pleasant room temperature of approx. 20-21°C with a medium setting of the thermostat valve.

Heat efficiently
If you are away for a longer period of time, even if it is just a weekend, you can significantly reduce energy consumption by lowering the room temperature. A reduction of just 1°C reduces consumption by 6%. Between 12-15°C is enough to prevent the room from cooling down while you are away.

Burst ventilation
If you tilt the window while the heating is running, you will also heat the street. It's better to ventilate briefly but properly: open the window wide several times a day for a few minutes and turn off the thermostat.
