Hello!
My name is Imran, I am 32 years old and have been one of your dorm tutors since April 15, 2024 Siegmunds Hof. As a tutor, I will be happy to help you with any concerns in the dormitory and am available to provide you with all information.
I come from Dhaka, Bangladesh and am currently completing my master's degree in integrated natural resource management at the Humboldt University of Berlin. It's been 4 years since I moved to Berlin and I now call this vibrant city my home.
My native language is Bangla, I speak English fluently. In the meantime, I'm improving my German every day.
My hobbies include reading books, football, billiards, table tennis, traveling and watching films.
If you've been in Siegmunds for a while, you may already know me from the weekly bar evenings on Thursdays in our Clubrrom in House 1, which I organize most of the time. I also organize various events throughout the year together with WSH, our own student association at Siegmunds. For a year we have been organizing summer parties, Oktoberfests, New Year's Eve parties, karaoke evenings, Halloween parties and many other events with the aim of creating more social bonds and broadening our horizons.
To stay informed about future events, always keep an eye on our social media platforms, WhatsApp and Telegram groups from your residence hall. We also post leaflets on the notice boards of each building before the events are organized.
Siegmunds Hof has always been a lively dormitory with its great location directly on the Spree and Tiergarten. It offers a combination of nature and a very quiet neighborhood. And most importantly, the combination of great people from different parts of the world creates a harmonious student community in the dormitory.

Hi all!
My name is Oussema Bouaziz, I am 24 years old and I come from beautiful North Africa, more precisely from Tunisia. Four years ago I went on an exciting adventure to Germany.
I originally come from Düsseldorf and Cologne, i.e. from North Rhine-Westphalia, but Berlin has taken my heart by storm. Here I am continuing my studies at the Berlin University of Technology (BHT) in the field of communication technology. If you've ever wondered how wireless networks and fiber optic technologies work, don't hesitate to contact me! I am always open to questions and discussions on this topic and much more.
As a student I enjoyed life to the fullest and now live in... Siegmunds Hof in the beautiful zoo. It was one of the best decisions to move here because in House 1, our Erasmus building, I met many great people from all over the world. The diversity of international students here Siegmunds Hof makes it easy to meet new people and make friends. The central location of the dormitory also allows us to explore Berlin in all its diversity. So if you're interested, I'd be happy to show you my favorite places in Berlin!
I have been working as a dorm tutor at STW BERLIN since April 15, 2024. My office is in house 12 next to the bicycle workshop, on the same side as the washing machine room. You can find me there at any time if you need help or just a nice chat.
In my free time I love doing sports (basketball, gym, swimming, climbing, etc.) and enjoying nature. I am interested in culture, travel and good food and enjoy being involved in various areas. That's why I plan to organize cultural open-air events and travel plans for the students in the future to explore not only Berlin and Germany, but also the whole of Europe. My goal is to create a strong and diverse community here Siegmunds Hof to build a place where everyone feels welcome and at home.
