5. Cooperation with parents

An appreciative and constructive interaction between the child's attachment figures is essential for his development. It is therefore important to us to maintain an open and trusting relationship with the parents and to be perceived by them as educational partners.

In the daycare centers of studierendenWERKs BERLIN we regularly exchange information about the children's development and seek discussions with the parents in order to reflect together on the implementation of the educational goals and to actively support the child's development.

In all facilities, parents are invited to experience everyday day-to-day life at the daycare center: celebrations are organized together and parent meetings and parent-teacher discussions take place at regular intervals. Once a year, the parents elect representatives who work on the daycare committee to discuss various organizational issues with the teaching staff.
