Special note:
The dormitory is named after Ottilie von Hansemann (born April 11, 1840 in Koblenz; † December 12, 1919 in Berlin). She was a German women's rights activist who was a pioneer in Prussia for the enrollment of women to study. The Ottilie von Hansemann Foundation has this studierendenWERK leave the house for use. According to the foundation's guidelines, the apartments may only be rented to female students who are eligible to live there. Male students are only allowed to move in if they are partners of the female tenants and are entitled to live there.
