Writing advice and text feedback

• We offer consultations via video, telephone or on site.
  Locations: Hardenbergstr. 34 or Thielallee 38 
• The best way to make an appointment is to use our Contact form or write us an email schreibberatung@stw.berlin.
  Please state the following: concern, university, telephone number and which format (video, telephone or on-site consultation) you would like.
• We will then contact you to suggest an appointment.
• If you have confirmed an appointment, we will send you a link to a Webex conference in good time or we will call you at the agreed time or we will pick you up at the agreed meeting point. 
• A consultation usually lasts a maximum of 45 minutes. If necessary, we will be happy to arrange follow-up appointments.
• No topic is too “small” for consultation with our writing tutors.
  
  Free, low-threshold and at eye level, now make an appointment!
  
  Our offer is for students at Berlin universities who are studying for a bachelor's degree, master's degree or state examination.

Talking about a specific excerpt from your term paper or thesis can be very helpful.
If you would like feedback on a text excerpt (max. 5 pages), send us the text in the attachment (as a doc file, font size 12 pt, line spacing 1,5, margin 2 cm) and the Questionnaire text feedback an schreibberatung@stw.berlin.

As part of text feedback you will receive:

• benevolent and honest feedback from a writing didactic perspective,
• Pointers to what is already working well in your text (excerpt),
• feedback on what is currently unclear when reading,
• our written comments via email,
• the opportunity to make an appointment for a meeting.
  
  

Writing advice before text feedback can be particularly useful if you have not had any advice from us before.
