Sustainability is an integral part of the internal management process at studierendenWERK BERLIN. Other departments are gradually being included.
We use green electricity from 100% renewable energies. In many canteens we use Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems for optimum control of the building management system.State-of-the-art kitchen technology such as pressure cookers and combi steamers are also used for "low temperature cooking" overnight. This preserves the quality of the products and protects the environment. Modern, environmentally friendly flushing technology has also become standard inventory in all facilities. We also use biodegradable cleaning agents and state-of-the-art dosing technology in most kitchens.
