The COVID19-Taskforce der Senatskanzlei – Wissenschaft und Forschung will be restricting operations at all Berlin universities and non-university research institutions, starting from 20 March 2020 until further notice.

The capacity of the BAföG office is currently limited. Please use the contact form or send an email. We process all requests as quickly as possible. We expressly ask you to send your documents to us via the BAföG-Online upload portal. We're currently only able to to process PDF and Word files via email.

Inquiries are still possible by e-mail at and by phone at +49 (30) 93939 8990 (Mon to Thu 9am to 3pm, Fridays 9am to 1pm). Facility managers and tutors in the halls of residence can also be reached by e-mail and telephone.
