CultureTrip: Open-Air Cinema
A cinema performance of "The Green Book" at the open-air cinema Kreuzberg.
What could be better than enjoying an exciting film in the setting sun on a warm summer evening with a cold drink and lots of popcorn? Only to do the same with 20 other students and to be able to talk about the film afterwards!
Together we want to visit a performance at the open air cinema Kreuzberg: "The Green Book".
"Tony Lip is an Italian-American from the Bronx, a bouncer and a man of the working class. In 1962 he was hired to drive the famous jazz pianist Don Shirley on a concert tour from New York City to the southern states. The indispensable companion on this tour: the travel guide "Negro Motorist Green Book", because Don Shirley is black and the Green Book names the few restaurants and accommodations where blacks in the American South can stop - This road trip through the US southern states of the 60s is a real crowd pleaser and the big Oscar winner of the year - Best Film, Best Supporting Actor and Best Original Screenplay" Freluftkino Kreuzberg

The Office for Cultural & International Affairs (Büro für Kultur und Internationales) of the studierendenWERK BERLIN regularly organizes a variety of trips and tours for students during the lecture period.
