How to find a student job

studierendenWERK BERLIN cooperates with the date base  www.stellenwerk-berlin.de. Here plenty of student jobs can be found. 
You can apply directly to the employers  personal registration is no longer necessary.




Inquiries regarding information and retention periods pursuant to § 257 Para. 1 No. 4, Para. 4 and 5 HGB for social security and wage tax documents of students, employers and authorities can be sent by e-mail to lohnsteuerbuero@stw.berlin or by post.

Applications for KfW student loans can also be submitted to the studierendenWERK BERLIN. First of all, we strongly recommend that you seek advice from the Social Counselling Service (Charlottenburg, Friedrichshain and Dahlem) in order to examine alternative financing options and find out more about the granting and repayment modalities of loans.

You can make an appointment by telephone or e-mail, or you can visit during the open consultation hours of KfW Advice. Semester extensions are only possible during the office hours. To conclude a contract, please bring a printed contract offer with you.You can find this on the KfW website.

studierendenWERK BERLIN is cooperating with the platform Stellenwerk, which publishes a wide range of student jobs and internships via www.stellenwerk-berlin.de. Stellenwerk is one of the market leaders in Germany and the recruiting employers also commit themselves to respect certain legal regulations, in particular the Minimum Wage Act and the Act on General Equal Treatment (AGG).

 As a company, you can publish your offers on Stellenwerk for a period of 28 days from EUR 50. For private offerers (carrying aids, Babysitter, etc.) the use of Stellenwerk is even free! You can find an overview of the current price lists here: www.stellenwerk.de/fuer-arbeitgeber/preisliste .

To offer a job, simply click on the "Offer job" button at www.stellenwerk-berlin.de - everything else will be explained to you. By the way, "Berlin" has already been preselected as the location for your job listing!

 If your listing is online, students will contact you directly via the platform. You can immediately arrange a work placement with the students you contact. If you have any questions about the vacancies or about Stellenwerk in general, you can contact them directly, free of charge by telephone from the German landline and mobile phone network at 0 800 210 05 62 or by e-mail at info@stellenwerk.de . Service times are Monday to Friday from 10 to 17.00 o'clock.
